Isn't Android Lollipop 5.0 that sweet?
May be yes, may be no and can't say. Because Lollipop experience was different for different handset users. Nexus users face WiFi connectivity issues and performance degradation of the phone, while a few others enjoyed the new UI of the Lollipop.

We all have been awaiting for the Lollipop 5.0 update and when it finally arrived, it left some bitter taste to some audience.

We all have been awaiting for the Lollipop 5.0 update and when it finally arrived, it left some bitter taste to some audience.
Here are some reasons:
- People reported that after updating to Lollipop, phone has become slow.
- Some Lollipop 5.0 users have been reporting dropped internet connections, while others can't get online at all. (Mostly on nexus 5 & 10).
- Some of the older apps that haven't been updated since Lollipop appeared might be clashing with Lollipop's new code and causing the battery to drain unnecessarily
- Lollipop has got some default apps which aren't useful for all, thus consuming some RAM and battery.
Google has updated most of its apps like Gmail, Gallery, Play Music, etc to be compatible to Lollipop before the launch of 5.0 to make users Lollipop ready. There were significant changes in the apps too.
Some features were well supported by the handsets and some failed, because of support from the handset maker for it. For example Motorola has provided its own Camera app for Moto series, at the same time Google Camera can also be installed and used.
Even though L is rolled out to most of the handsets, still many are yet to get L update. So before you upgrade to newer version(either OS or app), know the limitations or features and go forward to avoid sudden unexpected issues (which will be fixed soon).
Upgrade to 5.0 only when your phone is ready and have a tasty Lollipop. :)
